We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, direct, hybrid-remote opportunity at our office in Novi, MI.
Whether the project involves robot cells, large conveyor systems, custom material handling equipment, structural support, or massive structures, we need a dedicated individual to lead a team of engineers and designers through all phases of the process.
Job Responsibilities
Provide engineering direction to a team of engineers and designers.
Accurately track project schedule and open issues.
Create and revise project drawings as required.
Create and release purchased parts; materials equipment lists; approved work orders; and drawings to the shop and field.
Attend customer bid-meetings, contract meetings and provide on-site field engineering.
Accomplish quality project results by communicating job expectations, planning engineering tasks, and monitoring outcomes.
Do whatever it takes to provide a superb outcome for the customer.
Able to provide leadership and mentorship among team members; provide support and encourages collaboration.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; 5+ years of experience in conveyor engineering.
Able to apply engineering principals to analyze or evaluate mechanical or structural systems in detail.
Knowledge of conveyors, material handling, production systems and structural steel elements.
Operate CAD software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and/or Siemens NX.
Operate Engineering software such as RISA, SkyCIV, or similar.
Superior computer skills and well-versed in Microsoft Office tools.
